Durga Pooja, also known as Durgotsava or Sharodotsava, is an annual Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent which reveres and pays homage to the Hindu goddess Durga and is also celebrated because of Durga's victory over Mahishasur. 

Living beside CR Park in New Delhi, an area which is home to a lot of people from the Bengali community, I decided on visiting one of the Pandals (temporary structural decorations). To my surprise, the aura of the place consumed me so much, I ram back home, got my camera and made these pictures.

It is easy to say that this is one of the most serene experiences I have had in my life.
